Begin

Background

Experiment with different types of backgrounds from papers, patterns, textures, and solid colors or upload your own image to customize your work.
Text

Insert a text box and play around with the text by changing fonts, sizes, styles, and colors. You can compress the textbox to make the text vertical or drag it to reposition it on the canvas. Create various text styles by adding additional textboxes.
Draw

Use the brush to draw or write your own text. Change its stroke size and color to make it your own.
Shapes

Try out different shapes and colors to add to your journal. You can overlap shapes, change their sizes, rotate them, and drag them to create unique figures anywhere on the canvas.
Clipart

Pick out different clipart images from our library of animals, emojis, household items, and more or upload your own clipart collections. You can overlap clipart images, change their sizes, rotate them, and drag them anywhere on the canvas.
Delete

Want to start a new journal? Delete your current progress and start over.
Download

Download your current journal as a .jpg and save it for later or share it with others.

Background

The left panel displays three customizable options for the background: Textures, Upload Background, and Solid Colors

To select Textures:

1. Click on the dropdown menu to change background options
2. Select a background

To upload a Custom Background:

1. Click on the "Choose File" button to upload your own background

To select Solid Colors:

1. Click on the white color bar
2. Use the right bar to select a color range
3. Choose color

Click the download button to save your Sketchbook as a .jpeg file on your computer

To add Text:

1. Click the "Add a textbox" button
2. Click in the textbox and beginning typing
3. Drag the textbox to reposition it

To select a Font:

1. Select a font
2. Click for font styling - bold, italic, underline, stroke
3. Select a font size
4. Select a font color

ClipArt

The left panel displays two customizable options for clipart: Library and Upload Clipart

To select Library:

1. Click on the dropdown menu to select a clipart theme
2. Select your desired clipart

To upload Clipart:

1. Click on the "Choose File" button to upload your own clipart

To customize your Clipart:

1. Click on the corner boxes to resize it
2. Click on the circle under the bottom center box to rotate it
3. Drag the clipart image to reposition it

To select a Stroke Size:

1. Use the stroke size bar to select a desired stroke weight

To select Stroke Color:

1. Click on the white color bar
2. Use the right bar to select a color range
3. Choose color

1. Select a shape color from the dropdown menu
2. Select your desired shape

To customize your Shape:

1. Click on the corner boxes to resize it

4. Click Top or Bottom to change the arrangement of the layers

Finding what you lost

Sometimes we lose people, animals, things, or even places that we love for whatever reason, and we long to have them back in our lives. Think for a minute about what this might be for you.
